Made by ceramicist Doohyun Hong, of ceramic studio Banwolyo in Cheongdo, Korea, this buncheong tea bowl (also known as 'da-wan' or 'cha-wan')is one of a kind 'gwiyal' (dipping) style tea bowl.
Gwiyal refers to a decorative technique of applying white slip over the surface of a bowl using a brush called a gwiyal, which was made of pig or horsehair.
