Made by ceramicist Doohyun Hong, of ceramic studio Banwolyo in Cheongdo, Korea, this buncheong tea bowl (also known as 'da-wan' or 'cha-wan')is one of a kind 'dumbeong' (dipping) style tea bowl.
The bottom of the vessel is held and soaked upside-down in the white slip. The bottom of the bowl is therefore partly uncovered, and creates an unfinished look.
