This moon jar is made by ceramicist Doohyun Hongof ceramic studio Banwolyo in Cheongdo, Korea. The ceramicist focuses on creating pieces that resemble the style of ceramics and tableware created in Joseon Dynasty, especially those made for common people during that time period. Joseon white porcelains are characterized by the beauty of modest forms, and simplicity, which conveyed the ideals of Korean Confucian state, that was preeminent at the time.

This moon jar is perfect as a decoration on its own, especially against dark wood background and you can use as a vase as well to display flowers.
